Whether you’re coming in for your first dental checkup or you’re having a complex dentistry procedure, we hope you feel completely welcome and comfortable during your entire appointment. Part of creating this positive experience for you is making sure that all of the steps go smoothly including the logistics. That’s why we’re providing the helpful information below. Please take a few minutes to review it, so you’re more fully prepared for your appointment and can sit back and truly relax when you come to our dental office.
During your initial phone call, we’ll try to collect as much information as possible so that we’re ready for your visit. We’ll begin your appointment when your hygienist brings you back to your treatment chair and take X-rays and photos of your smile. Then they will professionally clean your teeth, removing plaque and tartar buildup. Finally, Dr. Tolliver will introduce himself and get to know you a little better. After a thorough, comprehensive oral exam, he’ll explain his findings and schedule any necessary follow up treatment.
Do you have dental insurance for you and your family? Whether through your employer or on your own, dental insurance can be a great resource for helping your wallet. Our team at Galleria Dental of Springfield can save you money on oral healthcare costs by filing claims on your behalf, taking the stress of dealing with the confusing dental insurance paperwork off your shoulders. Just bring your insurance information with you when you come for an appointment, and we’ll gladly handle any claims.
In many cases, dental insurance doesn’t cover all or even any of the cost of treatment, putting a strain on your budget. To make your care more affordable, we accept payment through CareCredit, a trusted financing company. Basically, we can help you apply for low- to no-interest financing and essentially break up the amount you owe into smaller monthly installments. Through this payment method, any dental treatment, no matter how complex or expensive, is within your reach.
Before we even call you back to the treatment chair, we will need you to complete some forms. This paperwork gives us your medical and dental history, insurance, and other important information that we should know from the beginning. You could put off filling out this paperwork until you’ve arrived at our dental office—in that case, we ask that you come a little early so that we can stay on time with our schedule. Or you can click below and complete the forms beforehand, leaving you with less time in our waiting room.
